Former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry said on Friday that the country’s politics cannot be move forward without Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan.
Speaking exclusively on Samaa TV programme, “Mere Sawal With Absar Alam,” Chaudhry claimed: “The court’s verdict in line with the Al-Qadir Trust case has nothing to do with the PTI’s politics.”
“The tensions would further escalate with the verdict pertaining to the Al-Qadir University. The impact of the decision cannot be long lasting,” he said.
Chaudhry said, “There is no value of such decisions. The decision cannot make an impact on the political detention of Imran Khan.”
“The country cannot witness the political stability without the presence of the PTI founder,” he asserted.
Chaudhry said: “We will have to see what will happen in the forthcoming days in connection with the happenings both behind the scenes or openly.”
“The decisions happened in our country have been impacted politically,” Chaudhry claimed.
He lamented, “The judges have not learnt any lesson from the Bhutto case. Such decisions are taken in favour of hiring the judges on contract.”
Speaking about US President-elect Donald Trump, Chaudhry said: “It will be of great importance to see what kind of team Trump will elect to see the matters in line with South Asia.”
