Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif expressed her gratitude to the people of Punjab for their firm stance against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), condemning their protest march as an act of sedition and anarchism.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, after PTI’s protest march in Islamabad, Maryam Nawaz acknowledged the support of the people of Punjab for not backing the demonstrators.

Punjab CM also stressed that the government is deeply aware of the inconvenience faced by the public due to the disruptions caused by the protest.
In response, she ordered the immediate reopening of all internal and external routes across Punjab to restore normalcy and ensure the smooth movement of traffic.

In addition to the traffic clearance, Maryam Nawaz directed the provincial administration to take swift action to ensure the continued supply of essential food items, highlighting the importance of controlling inflation and preventing unnecessary price hikes.
“We understand the difficulties faced by the people due to the actions of the anarchists and are committed to easing their burdens,” the Punjab CM said.
