Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) resolved on Sunday to uplift the country at any cost.
According to details, the privatisation minister had presided over the meeting of the IPP in Lahore. On this occasion, Aleem Khan said: "It is already a big success that four members in the NA and four in the provincial assembly are representing the IPP."
"We [IPP] will continue to play a role in terms of fulfilling our national duty," he said.
Acknowledging that the "ups and downs" are part of the politics, Aleem Khan said: "The politics is not like a T20 format in cricket. But rather a Test match, where one needs to play long innings."
"IPP will continue to play its role in the country's political landscape in a positive way," he stated.
He urged the IPP leadership to ensure the mobilization of the party in every district at the level of the union council.
"Where the organizational structure is complete, I will visit there at the district headquarter," he stated.
Earlier on Saturday, Aleem Khan acknowledged on Saturday his party’s role in approving the 26th constitutional amendment in the parliament.
According to details, the privatisation minister had presided over the central executive committee meeting of the IPP. On this occasion, Aleem Khan said: “The IPP had played a substantial role in the National Assembly pertaining to the constitutional amendment.”
