Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar lambasted the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) after the embattled party had announced protests during the forthcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
Expressing his thoughts, Tarar said: “It is better for those looking to stage a conspiracy to sit in their houses. The extremist’s mindset will not be allowed to sabotage the SCO.”
“The premier, flanked by the interior minister, visited Islamabad. On this occasion, the PM had reviewed the preparations in connection with the welcoming of the Chinese premier,” Tarar said.
He added, “The prime minister had also monitored the arrangements for the upcoming SCO summit. Our security arrangements have been completed, and the Army, Rangers, and police have been deployed.”
“The SCO summit will be held smoothly. We are looking forward to ensuring that our honorable guests will leave Pakistan by taking good memories.”
Tarar said: “It is a matter of honor for the country to host the SCO summit. We are ready to welcome the guests.”
