Conflicting reports continue to surround the alleged arrest of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur as security sources and PTI leaders offer differing narratives.
According to Barrister Saif - an adviser to the KP government - a heavy contingent of Rangers and Islamabad police sealed the KP House in Islamabad on Saturday morning, with CM Gandapur reportedly inside.
"The Rangers personnel have surrounded the KP House, and dozens of PTI workers attempting to reach the location have been arrested," claimed Saif. He further warned that any attempt to arrest Gandapur would be a violation of his bail granted by the Peshawar High Court, which extends until October 25.

“If the chief minister is arrested, it will be a blatant violation of the court's orders and an insult to the mandate given to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,” Saif stated, adding that the legal team is prepared to fight any such move in court.
PTI leader Omar Ayub also claimed that Gandapur had been detained, citing that the heavy presence of law enforcement was a clear indication of an impending arrest.

However, sources within the security establishment have categorically denied these claims, dismissing the rumours as "baseless" and a part of a larger propaganda effort by PTI.
"Ali Amin Gandapur has not been arrested or detained," the source said, adding that reports of his alleged arrest were "fabricated and misleading."
Sources also refuted claims of any confrontation between security forces and PTI workers. "There was no firing anywhere from Peshawar to Islamabad," the ministry stated, calling PTI's accusations of police action "entirely false."
The ministry further clarified that the deployment of security forces, including Rangers, in and around Islamabad is routine and is being carried out under Article 245 of the Constitution. The security measures, the source stressed, are precautionary and not targeted toward any particular individual or party.
