A case has been registered against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur under the Anti-Terrorism Act for allegedly inciting violence and leading an attack on a toll plaza along with 300 unidentified individuals.
The case was lodged at the Manawan police station in Lahore.
According to the FIR, the KP CM along with a group of 250 to 300 people, is accused of smashing the windows of the toll plaza on the Sialkot-Lahore Motorway, where police personnel were stationed.
The group, reportedly led by Gandapur, also attempted to set vehicles on fire.
The case, filed on the complaint of SHO Hudiara Hamas Hameed, includes serious charges such as terrorism, attempted murder, and vandalism.
Member of the National Assembly Shahid Khattak has also been named in the case as a co-accused.
The incident occurred when Ali Amin Gandapur, along with his convoy, arrived in Lahore to attend a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally. However, the event had concluded by the time the Mr Gandapur reached the venue.
