The Airport Security Force (ASF) foiled a smuggling attempt at Karachi's Jinnah International Airport, recovering 2.65 kg of heroin from a passenger bound for Jeddah. The drugs were concealed in soap bars within the passenger's luggage.
The suspect, identified as Salamullah, was intercepted by ASF personnel during a routine luggage search.
Severalty, another passenger's belongings were also searched at Bacha Khan International Airport Peshawar, leading to the recovery of more illegal substances. The accused hid the drugs in the lower portion of the passenger bag.
Both passengers were handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) along with the seized drugs for further legal action.
