Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said on Wednesday that the rain situation in Karachi is under control.
Expressing his thoughts, CM Murad said: "Thatta and Badin witness heavy rainfall from where we receive some complaints as well. “It takes for the water to recede after the heavy rainfall," he added.
Recounting the project initiated by the Sindh government, CM Murad said: "We are constructing two million houses. We are initiating the project bigger than 150 countries, which the entire world is acknowledging."

Earlier today it was reoorted that the fifth spell of monsoon continues to affect Karachi, with intermittent rain causing disruptions across the city.
According to Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz, the current weather system responsible for the rainfall is located approximately 320 kilometers from Karachi.
Sarfraz indicated that more rain is expected in the city today, along with strong winds, raising concerns about potential urban flooding. He urged citizens to exercise caution during this period. The ongoing rain spell is anticipated to persist until August 31.
The weather system, driven by a deep depression, initially impacted the Sindh borders before making its way to Karachi. Throughout the night, light rain was reported across the city, leading to water accumulation on various roads.
