Kalat was rocked by a series of terrorist attacks late last night, targeting both a tribal person's house as well as a toll plaza, hotel, and hospital. The coordinated assaults left 10 people dead and several others injured.
According to law enforcement officials, the attacks began with a raid on a tribal person's home, followed by attacks on a toll plaza, a nearby hotel, and a hospital. Security forces quickly responded, leading to an intense exchange of fire with the terrorists.
In the ensuing gun battle, four Levies personnel and a police officer were martyred. Tragically, five civilians also lost their lives in the crossfire.
Kalat SSP Dostain Dashti confirmed that several people sustained injuries during the attacks and were rushed to local hospitals for treatment. The terrorists managed to flee the scene after the exchange of fire, and a search operation is currently underway to apprehend the culprits.

Authorities have intensified security measures in the area, and the situation remains tense as the search operation continues. The attacks have sparked widespread concern and condemnation, with local leaders calling for swift action to bring the perpetrators to justice.
Earlier in the day, territories stopped a passenger bus and killed 23 people in a firing incident in Rarasham area of Musakhel in Balochistan.
Terrorists stopped vehicles on the national highway and gunned down passengers after checking their identity cards. A heavy contingent of Levies and police reached the spot. Balochistan Levies officials said the bodies of the passengers were shifted to hospitals.
