Gold prices in Pakistan maintained stability on Thursday, reflecting a steady trend observed in the international market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola remained unchanged at Rs255,500. The 10-gram gold also held steady at Rs219,050.
This stability follows a Rs500 decrease in the gold price per tola observed on Wednesday. On the global front, the price of gold was consistent at $2,393 per ounce, with an additional premium of $20, as reported by APGJSA.
In contrast, silver rates in the local market showed no fluctuation, holding steady at Rs2,850 per tola.
The previous week had seen a significant surge in gold prices, with the per tola rate climbing by Rs2,400 to reach a historic high of Rs257,300.
