Pakistan Army successfully defended their title in the 25th Senior Men's National Baseball Championship 2024, defeating Pakistan WAPDA 3-0 in an exciting final match. WAPDA secured the second position, while Higher Education finished third in the tournament.
The championship, which began on June 30 at the Army Sports Directorate Cricket Ground in Rawalpindi, featured nine top teams from various departments and provinces. Participating teams included Army, WAPDA, Police, Higher Education, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Sindh, and Balochistan.
A total of 15 matches were played in a pool format, with each team competing against others. Players demonstrated their fitness and technical skills throughout the championship, with all teams exhibiting enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
The successful organization of the event was ensured by the efforts of Secretary General Pakistan Federation Baseball, Syed Fakhar Ali Shah, and the Army Sports Directorate.
