Indian actor-politician Kangana Ranaut has slammed the Hindi film industry for not commenting on her slap row.
On June 6, Kangana was slapped by a CISF officer during a security check-in at Chandigarh airport as she departed for New Delhi. After calling out Bollywood's silence on the matter, the actor deleted her Instagram story.
Kangana's now-deleted Instagram story about the slap row read: "Dear film industry, you all are either rejoicing or are totally quiet on the airport attack on me remember if tomorrow if your walking on some street of your country or anywhere else in the world and some Israeli or Palestinian hits you or your children just because you tried to bring eyes to Rafah or stood up for Israeli hostage... then you will see I will be standing up for your rights of free speech, if someday you wonder why I am where I am remember you are not me."
Later, she posted another story on Instagram, saying, “All eyes on Rafah Gang this can happen to you or your children as well. When you celebrate a terror attack on someone be ready for the day it comes back to you as well.”
Kangana Ranaut claimed that she was going for the boarding point after the security check when CISF officer Kulwinder Kaur argued with and slapped her in the face.
Sources suggest that Kangana's controversial remarks about women in Punjab during the farmers' agitation may have caused the constable to slap her.

Following the incident, constable Kulwinder Kaur was suspended indefinitely and an FIR was filed against her, according to CISF officials. A probe panel has also been set up to investigate Kangana's allegations.
Later, Kangana Ranaut posted a video message on social media. She said, "I am safe, I am absolutely fine. The slapping incident that took place at Chandigarh Airport occurred during the security check. When the security check was completed and when she was waiting to pass the woman security officer, she came towards me, hit me, and began to abusing me. When I asked why she did it, she said she is supporting the farmers. I am safe, but my concern is how to handle this shocking rise in terror and violence in Punjab."
