Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, accompanied by a high-level delegation including key cabinet ministers, will visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Thursday.
This marks the prime minister’s first visit to the UAE since his election. During the visit, he is scheduled to meet with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi.
“The two leaders will discuss bilateral relations between Pakistan and the UAE, with a special focus on trade and investment,” stated the Foreign Office Spokesperson.
Additionally, the premier is expected to meet other Emirati dignitaries, businesspersons, and heads of financial institutions.
Pakistan and the UAE share long-standing fraternal relations rooted in religio-cultural affinity. Frequent high-level exchanges are a hallmark of the strong ties between the two nations.
“PM Shehbaz’s visit marks an important step towards further deepening the multifaceted bilateral collaboration between Pakistan and the UAE,” the statement added.
