The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has released a revised exam schedule for the postponed matriculation papers. The exams were previously delayed due to the intense heatwave affecting the region.
Due to the persistent heatwave, the exams were postponed from May 21 to 27. According to the new schedule announced by the board, the rescheduled dates are as follows:
- For Class 10 students, the Urdu paper will now be held on May 28, the Sindhi paper on May 29, the Islamiat paper on May 30, and the Pakistan Studies paper on May 31.
- For Class 9 students, the Urdu and Sindhi papers will take place on May 28, followed by the Islamiat paper on May 30.
- Papers for the general group will be conducted in the afternoon shift.
The rescheduling aims to accommodate the students who were affected by the postponement due to the extreme weather conditions. The board is taking all necessary steps to ensure the exams are conducted smoothly and in a conducive environment.
The BSEK urges all students and educational institutions to take note of the new dates and prepare accordingly.
