Karachi experienced widespread power outages as tripping in K-Electric's extra high-tension (EHT) line caused several grid stations to trip. The disruption has left multiple areas of the city without electricity since the morning.
Key affected areas include Lyari, Kharadar, Defence, and I.I. Chundrigar Road. Additionally, power outages have been reported in SITE Area, North Karachi, North Nazimabad, and Numaish Chowrangi.
Residents of Federal B Area are also facing prolonged outages, with electricity supply suspended in several blocks since early morning.
