President Asif Ali Zardari is expected to chair a high-level meeting in Quetta.
According to details, President Zardari will reach Quetta on Monday (tomorrow) on a three-day visit. The president is expected to inaugurate various development projects in Balochistan's capital city.
President Zardari will also hold meetings with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) lawmakers and political leaders.
– President Zardari acknowledges media's role –
Separately, President Zardari acknowledged the role of the media in the country.

Expressing his thoughts, President Zardari said: "We celebrate the freedom of the media in accordance with the constitution."
"Today, we celebrate the freedom of the media in accordance with the constitution, we commemorate efforts to create a safe environment for journalists. The media plays a vital role in addressing global issues, including climate change".
President Zardari said: "Journalists face challenges worldwide, emphasizing the need for their security and safety measures. The country's constitution guarantees press freedom".

Stressing the need for upholding the media ethics, President Zardari said: "It is the responsibility of the media to adhere to journalistic ethics, prioritise national interests, and engage in responsible and accurate reporting. The media should play its role in combating fake news and promoting ethical values."
– President Zardari vows to uplift country –
Last month in April, President Zardari reaffirmed his commitment to the progress and prosperity of the country.
Addressing the public gathering in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh on the occasion of the 45th death anniversary of former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, President Zardari said: "Today Benazir Bhutto is talking in history. Benazir Bhutto, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, among others, embraced martyrdom."
"It is not written in our fate that we are poor countries. The higher Power has blessed the country with all kinds of wealth.," the president stated.
President Zardari said: "Some of the people had harmed the country, due to which we as a country bear the brunt."
