The Lahore police on Wednesday decided to include former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry in the investigation process pertaining to the main cases of May 9 vandalism.
According to details, the police said: "Chaudhry will be made part of the investigation in connection with the statements of the arrested accused. The evidence of Chaudhry's involvement has been found in the statements of the arrested accused."
The police officials said: "Chaudhry has been granted interim bail in all the cases. Chaudhry has not become part of the investigation in some cases."
Chaudhry will be made part of the investigation process in case no 97/23, registered at Sarwar Road police station.
He will also be made part of the investigation in case no 366/23 registered in Model Town.
Apart from that, Chaudhry will also be made part of the investigation in case no. 103/23, registered at Sarwar Road police station.
