The Pakistan Army concludes a four-day free eye surgical camp in Mohmand district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, delivering essential healthcare services to the local community.
Throughout the camp, they screened 1473 individuals free of charge, attending to 885 men, 544 women, and 245 children. Additionally, they provided free prescription glasses to 754 patients. Moreover, they dispensed free medicines to 1139 patients, ensuring access to vital treatments.
In collaboration with Al Shifa Eye Trust, they performed eye surgeries onsite for 104 patients, while referring 206 others to Al Shifa Eye Trust Hospital Rawalpindi for specialized care.
Local residents express gratitude, commending the Pakistan Army for bringing these services closer to home, alleviating the need for arduous journeys for medical attention. They emphasize the importance of continuing such initiatives to benefit the underprivileged population.
