Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said on Wednesday that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) wants to pressurise the judiciary in line with the Islamabad High Court's (IHC) judges letter.
Expressing his thoughts, Chaudhry said: "Mounting pressure on any judiciary is quite condemnable. Through its repetitive action, the PTI is continuously pressuring the judiciary."
He questioned: "What has going on in social media is not about mounting pressure on the judiciary?"
Speaking about former chief justice of Pakistan Tassaduq Hussain Jillani, Chaudhry said: "A specific political party has spread the negativity about Tassaduq Hussain Jillani."
– ECP postponed Senate elections in KP in line with constitution –
Separately, PML-N senior leader Amir Muqam said that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) postponed the Senate elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in line with the constitution.
Expressing his thoughts, Muqam asserted: "The constitution is being violated in KP. The province has been deprived of the Senate elections."
"I have no idea what type of law is being prevailed in KP," Muqam maintained.
