US Assistant Secretary of State Donald Lu made significant revelations during a hearing held by the US Congress Committee regarding the general elections in Pakistan in 2024.
He addressed various issues, including India’s alleged involvement in state terrorism within the US.
In his statement to the committee, Lu emphasized that the US had no role in the removal of PTI founder Imran Khan from the post of Prime Minister of Pakistan.
However, the most striking revelation came when Lowe confirmed India’s alleged state terrorism inside the US. He informed the committee about the involvement of Indian government officials in a conspiracy to kill an American citizen named Gurpatwant Singh. This revelation sheds light on a serious matter that the US has raised with the Indian government.
Notably, in November of the previous year, a British newspaper reported that US authorities had thwarted a plot to assassinate Sikh separatist leader Gurpatwant Singh.
Donald Lu underscored the gravity of this issue and emphasized that it has been raised with both the Modi government in India and the Indian authorities. Furthermore, he issued a stern warning against any further involvement in such conspiracies, emphasizing the severity of the matter for the US.
