Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has congratulated Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on assuming office in a telephonic conversation.
The crown prince of Saudi Arabia, often known as MBS, congratulated PM Shehbaz and emphasized the close brotherly ties that exist between the two nations.
During the conversation, the Saudi crown prince said the two countries enjoyed deep brotherly relations.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif thanked the Saudi crown prince in a tweet on his official X account. The prime minister also prayed for the health of King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz, the custodian of the two Holy Mosques.
According to the prime minister, Pakistan took great pride in its long-standing relationship with Saudi Arabia, and the two nations had always supported one another during good and bad times.
Along with wishing the Saudi government and people a good Ramazan, he also prayed that Muslims worldwide may experience peace and prosperity during this holy month. The crown prince was also extended an invitation by PM Shehbaz to visit Pakistan as soon as possible.
He informed MbS that the people of Pakistan were eager to accord him a hearty welcome.
