Former president of India, Pratibha Patil, has been shifted to a hospital for treatment due to her unwell condition.
As per Indian media reports, officials said that former president Patil developed symptoms of fever and chest infection, after which she was admitted to Pune's Bharti Hospital for treatment.
According to officials, the former president was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday night.

Furthermore, the hospital management said that Pratibha Patil had a fever and chest infection, however, her condition was stable and she was currently under treatment.
It is important to mention that Pratibha Patil served as the 12th president of India from 2007 to 2012 and was the first woman to hold the office.
