The Establishment Division has issued a notification outlining the revised working hours for federal government offices in the holy month of Ramazan.
The new schedule aims to accommodate those fasting while ensuring the continued efficiency of government operations.
According to the notification, the federal government offices operating for five days a week will function from 9am to 3pm. However, the offices functioning for six days a week will be open from 9am to 2pm.
Furthermore, on Fridays, government offices will operate from 9am to 12:30pm, aligning with the traditional shorter working hours observed due to the Friday prayers.

The nation prepares to embark on the month-long journey of fasting that begins in just a few days.
Astrologers have suggested that the first day of Ramazan in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and other Gulf countries is anticipated to fall on March 11.
This potential date has been calculated based on astronomical observations, with the official announcement expected from the Central Sighting of the Crescent Committee following the moon sighting.
Dr. Sharaf Al-Safani, head of the Astronomy Department of Saudi Arabia, stated that the new moon will be visible for approximately 13 minutes after sunset in Makkah. This sighting will be followed by the official registration of testimonies in the Supreme Court, confirming the start of Ramazan.
Remarkably, after a span of 26 years, Ramazan is set to commence in the winter, offering a unique experience for Muslims. Over the next decade and a half, the holy month will cycle through spring, winter, and autumn. The upcoming Ramazan in March marks a rare occurrence, bringing a distinctive and cooler atmosphere to the month of fasting.
