Former English cricketer Michael Vaughan on Friday rallied behind former Pakistan director Mohammad Hafeez after the latter parted ways with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Vaughan said: "You were doing a really good job .. Madness why they wouldn’t want you to carry on."

– PCB parts ways with legendary Mohammad Hafeez –
Earlier on Thursday, the PCB penned a farewell note for the former team director.
"The PCB extends heartfelt gratitude to Mohammad Hafeez, Director, Pakistan men’s cricket team, for his invaluable contributions." the statement said.
Acknowledging the passion of the former all-rounder, the PCB said, "Hafeez's passion for the game has inspired players, and his mentorship during the tour of Australia and New Zealand has been of immense importance."
