"Jawan" earned a phenomenal 340m on Sunday, contributing to its rapid success. While "Jawan" had a Thursday release, "Pathaan" had an extra day as it was released on a Wednesday. Despite this, "Jawan" has surpassed "Pathaan" by at least 200m when considering all languages.
In the Hindi version alone, "Jawan" has earned 4.3 billion and is expected to comfortably surpass the 4.6 billion mark by the end of the week.
There is even potential for it to reach 4.7 billion, aided by the partial holiday of Ganesh Chathurthi in some regions. This holiday is expected to boost the film's momentum further.
