Pakistan cricketer Azam Khan said that he was not given the opportunity to play a complete series in four years since his international debut.
In conversation with veteran all-rounder Shoaib Malik, Khan said: “What I believe is that I have been given more opportunities in league cricket. As the franchises are familiar with my match-winning capabilities."
“I will consider other options if they are persistently ignored in the international circuit with the mindset that I am not in line with international standards,” he said.
Underscoring the differences between the foreign and local coaches, Khan said: “When I play under foreign coaches, they point out no flaws in my techniques. But back home, there is a completely different experience, as I feel that I have flaws.”
“But when I watch my own batting, it gives me great confidence that I am no less than others,” Khan said.
