Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) stalwart Barrister Gohar Khan on Monday took a conciliatory stance during a rally in Buner, expressing the party's commitment to respecting institutions and advocating for an end to further conflicts.
In his address, Khan highlighted the need for harmony and cooperation in the political landscape."We respect the institutions, we do not want any more conflict," added Gohar.
The PTI stalwart also took the opportunity to comment on PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif, accusing him of engaging in deal politics throughout his political career.
He contrasted this with the evolving political journey of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, stating that the PPP leader is now in the process of learning politics.
Mr Gohar also underlined the enduring popularity of the founder of PTI, who he claimed remains in the hearts of the people.
Looking ahead to the upcoming elections, Barrister Gohar Khan asserted that the incoming Prime Minister should be elected based on the power vested in the people.
He highlighted the supremacy of parliament as a central tenet of PTI's manifesto, indicating the party's commitment to strengthening democratic institutions.
