Pakistan former captain Misbahul Haq said on Saturday that Pakistan are having good chances in the upcoming T20 World Cup, slated to happen on June 1.
Addressing the press conference in Karachi, Haq said, "We are having a good T20 side. However, there is a need to focus on our spin bowling."
He said, "The players are focusing more on the shortest format of the game. Meanwhile, one good performance in tests can make you an overnight star."
"There should be no such condition as allowing the players to play up to three leagues. But it would be better to allow the players to take part in the league cricket if he is available and not on national duties," Haq said.
He bemoaned: "The culture of replacing the players and coach staffing on the basis of merely one series is being embraced. Therefore, no foreign coach is willing to join the team."
