PMLN senior leader and former interior minister Rana Sanaullah Khan talking to SAMAA TV said that the cipher case was the clear-cut case as there was no dispute in it that the former prime minister declassified the classified documents of the cipher case.
“PTI has all the forums from the IHC and SC. Not like PMLN wherein its supremo got disqualification sentence from the highest judicial forum Supreme Court of Pakistan,” he said.
He strongly condemned the violence committed by the people against the state of Pakistan on May 9.
“These people (PTI) committed violence against the state of Pakistan. There should be a difference between the vandals and the political workers. If these people will be allowed to contest elections then the country may get more damage,” he said.

Former prime minister Imran Khan and former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi have each been sentenced to 10 years in prison in the cipher case.
The verdict was pronounced by Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqernain of the Official Secrets Act special court after conducting proceedings in Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi.
The judge said the prosecution had enough solid evidence to prove the crime.
Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Azam Nazir Tarar held a news conference where he said that the decisions continue to be criticized and it should be. But the constitution does not allow personal attacks nor does the law.
Tarar said that PML-N’s reaction wasn’t necessary as it was a case where the law took its course.
"PTI founder was given full opportunity in the inquiry but he did not take it seriously. The case was remanded twice by the Islamabad High Court,' he added.
