In Palworld, where lots of different Pals roam around, you may find yourself caught up in capturing them to build your Pal squad and level up. But truth be told, not every Pal is a superstar.
Maybe you caught some Pals with not-so-great traits – they're weak, clumsy, or just wreck things.

How to Swap Pals with a Pal Trader in Palworld
In Palworld, you can trade your Pals with a Pal Trader. There's one hanging out in the Small Settlement area, kinda in the middle of the island.
When you're in the Small Settlement, look for a shed with a Pal Sphere outside – that's where you'll find the Pal Trader NPC.
To swap your Pal, just talk to the Pal Trader, choose the swap option, and pick the Pal you want to trade. You'll get money in return for your Pal.

Trading Pals with a Black Marketeer in Palworld
Another way to get rid of Pals is through the Black Marketeer. Unlike the regular Pal Trader, this kinda shady-looking NPC lets you swap not-so-legal Pals and even offers some rare ones for swapping. Fun fact – you can also swap humans you caught here.
You can find the Black Marketeer by heading to the Abandoned Mineshaft up northwest of the Small Settlement.
The quickest way is through the Bridge of Twin Knights fast travel, then just follow the main road until you see the mineshaft.
Once you're with the Black Marketeer, talk to them, and you should be able to trade your Pal for some cash. And while you're at it, why not grab a cool rare Pal or two?
