Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Ayaz Sadiq said on Saturday that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder had made bogus cases against the Sharif family.
Addressing the public gathering in NA-120 (Lahore), Sadiq said, ‘’People of NA-120 do not take U-turns. I will put in my all-out effort to address the masses’ problems.’’
He lavished praise on the Pak Army, saying, ''Attacking the Pak Army is tantamount to targeting the entire country.’’
Taking a jibe at the PTI-led government, Sadiq said, ‘’The country had witnessed a surge in unemployment and ballooning inflation.’’
Recalling the PML-N’s previous tenure, the former National Assembly speaker said: ''Everything, including flour and power, was available at cheaper rates during the PML-N’s government. But now the country is facing whooping inflation.''
'Come and contest elections in Lahore’
Few weeks back, Sadiq asked Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari to come and contest elections in Lahore.
During an informal talk with media persons in Karachi, the former National Assembly speaker said, “We will welcome Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari in Lahore.
"It is part of the election campaign to come up with every kind of narrative," he said.
