The US Dollar started the trading session on Friday against the Pakistani Rupee at Rs279.90, registering a decline of a minor 18 paisas in the interbank market.
The Rupee saw a gain of 0.06% in the opening hours of interbank trading, appreciating against the Dollar by 18 paisas.
This follows Thursday's positive performance, where the Rupee had closed at Rs279.98 against the Greenback. Meanwhile, the US Dollar is poised for its second consecutive weekly gain on global markets, fuelled by indications of a robust US economy and central bankers' cautious approach to rate cuts.

While the Pakistani Rupee's gains against the dollar are modest, they offer a welcome sign of stability for the currency after experiencing pressure earlier in the week.
Continued economic improvements and positive sentiment towards Pakistan on the international stage could further strengthen the rupee in the coming days.
