Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, who relocated to the United States to escape the rigors of royal life, are reportedly finding it challenging to make an impact in their upscale American neighborhood.
Despite their royal titles and connections, it appears that the couple has failed to capture the attention or admiration of their neighbors.
Renowned royal expert Barry Maher shed light on the situation, stating, "Harry and Meghan live down the street but in a considerably pricier spot, though nobody around here is exactly living in cardboard boxes."
Maher suggested that the lack of visibility of the couple in the local community may be contributing to the indifference felt by their neighbors.
"Since we never see them, local tolerance seems to mirror USA tolerance in general.
People who like them seem to have an unlimited tolerance, no matter what they do," Maher added, highlighting the apparent disconnect between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their immediate surroundings.
This revelation comes amidst a challenging year for the royal couple, with the Wall Street Journal labeling them a "Hollywood Flop" and The Hollywood Reporter including them in the "biggest losers of 2023" list.
The unfavorable publicity has taken a toll on their popularity, as Maher notes, "Everyone else is either unimpressed by the traveling soap opera or is just sick of hearing about them."
