Football sensation Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly expanded his property portfolio with the purchase of a lavish mansion on Dubai's exclusive 'Billionaires Island'.
The Al-Nassr superstar, set to be honoured at the Globe Soccer Awards, is adding a new residence to his collection.
Situated on Jumeirah Bay Island, known as 'Billionaires Island,' Ronaldo's new abode caters to the ultra-wealthy. Although specific details are undisclosed, the mansion is rumoured to come with a substantial price tag, estimated in the tens of millions of euros.
'Billionaires Island' earned its name due to its high concentration of billionaires per square kilometre, surpassing other locations in the UAE. The enclave hosts affluent residents from Saudi Arabia, Israel, India, and Russia, offering extravagant properties and upscale amenities.
Developed by Palace Luxury Living, the island boasts 10 mega-mansions, collectively estimated to sell for $545 million. It features fine-dining restaurants, a yacht club, a beach resort, and a breathtaking view of the iconic Burj Khalifa.
Ronaldo's acquisition aligns with a trend among Saudi Pro League stars, known for residing in expansive villas or luxury hotels. With his Riyadh base just a two-hour flight away, Ronaldo is expected to share the retreat with partner Georgina Rodriguez and their five children.
As Ronaldo continues his on-field success, his off-field investments showcase a penchant for prime real estate in the world's most exclusive locales.
