Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Central Executive Committee (CEC) on Wednesday endorsed Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari as the party's official candidate for the position of Prime Minister.
The decision was met with unanimous approval during the hybrid meeting held at Bilawal House, where key party members gathered to deliberate on key matters.
Chaired jointly by Asif Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto, the meeting addressed pivotal issues such as the upcoming general elections, the party's election campaign, and the formulation of the party manifesto.
Meanwhile, the participants also engaged in comprehensive discussions regarding the current political landscape of the country and its diplomatic relationships.
President Asif Ali Zardari formally proposed Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari as the prime ministerial candidate on behalf of the PPP, a proposal that received unanimous approval from the CEC.
Expressing unwavering confidence in the leadership of Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the members of the CEC acknowledged their pivotal roles in steering the party towards its goals.
