The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday appointed former all-rounder Yasir Arafat as the High-Performance Coach (HPC) for the national cricket team.
Arafat is all set to commence his inaugural assignment with the team in the upcoming series of five T20 matches against New Zealand.
Alongside his coaching responsibilities, Arafat will also take on the crucial role of camp commander during the preparatory camp organised for the New Zealand tour.

The extensive five-day camp is slated to take place in Lahore, starting on December 29 and concluding on January 2.
This preparatory endeavor has aimed to meticulously refine the team's skills and strategic acumen in anticipation of the demanding series against New Zealand, which is scheduled to kick off on January 12.
