Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Parliamentarians Chairman Pervez Khattak claimed on Monday that he "refused" to take the bat symbol.
Expressing his thoughts in Peshawar, Khattak said: “I will continue to fight for the sake of the province [Khyber Pakhtunkhwa]. There is nothing wrong to change the political party as is the democratic process.”
“Many of our supporters will join us if they win the elections as independent candidates,” the former KP chief minister maintained.
Khattak said: “It is a weird to know that people deems me turncoat for leaving the PTI”.
