The construction of Ram Mandir on the same spot as the destroyed Babri Masjid is a tactic of India’s Narendra Modi government to win elections.
As the election draws near, the anti-Muslim tactics of the Modi government have kicked off. The New Delhi authorities have completed the construction of the Ram Mandir at the sacred site of the Babri Masjid, as promised to the voters of the ruling BJP party.
The completion of the #RamMandir at the #BabriMasjid site raises eyebrows, especially given the timing and historical context.

Preparations are in full swing by the Modi government to inaugurate the temple in the northern town of Ayodhya on January 22.
The construction of Ram Mandir at the site has been a central campaign theme for Modi's Hindu nationalist ruling party, the BJP, for more than three decades.
"The construction of Ram Mandir is expected to further boost the party's chances of victory in the 2024 general elections", said a BJP leader.
There has been fierce tension between Hindus and Muslims regarding this place for decades.
In 2019, the Supreme Court had given the land of Babri Masjid to the Hindus to build a temple.
