Separately, Pakistan bowling all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz was named on Saturday as the replacement for Noman Ali.
Ali was out of the series against Australia due to appendicitis.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Nawaz will head to Australia on the first available flight.
Earlier, Noman Ali had complained of sudden and severe abdominal pain yesterday, leading to examinations and scans in emergency that confirmed a diagnosis of acute appendicitis.
He underwent Laparoscopic Appendectomy on the surgeon's advice.
