Former Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman Noor Alam Khan on Saturday decided to join the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F).
The JUI-F will field Khan as its candidate from NA-28 Peshawar. The JUI-F general secretary of the Peshawar district had confirmed Khan’s inclusion in the party.
Khan had contested the 2008 general elections on the Pakistan People's Party’s (PPP) ticket. He contested the 2018 elections on the ticket of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

– Fazlur Rehman’s nomination papers submitted from NA-265 Pishin –
JUI-F supremo Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s nomination papers had been submitted from NA-265 Pishin on Friday ahead of the general elections.
JUI-F provincial emir Maulana Abdul Wasay had submitted the nomination papers for Rehman. Rehman will contest elections for two national seats – NA-265 Pishin and DI Khan.
