Cricket sensation Shadab Khan on Wednesday has been bestowed with the prestigious title of Brand Ambassador and conferred with an honorary Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) rank by the Punjab Police.
The all-rounder, currently on a temporary hiatus from cricket due to an ankle injury sustained during the National T20 Cup, expressed his gratitude and enthusiasm for the new role.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Shadab Khan shared his elation, stating, "I feel honored to serve in a different way now."
He also encouraged young people to consider working for the government to help the country.

Shadab's injury
The ankle injury, which has sidelined Shadab Khan from cricket for the foreseeable future, occurred during the National T20 Cup. Despite the setback, the cricketer remains resilient and optimistic about his recovery.
Having returned to Pakistan following his participation in the World Cup held in India, Shadab Khan is now dedicated to the healing process, requiring a well-deserved break to recuperate fully.
