In a significant development, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan engaged in a crucial meeting with President Dr Arif Alvi on Tuesday.
The discussions primarily focused on matters related to the prevailing political situation in the country, as detailed in an official press release from the President's House.
Meanwhile, the huddle comes on the heels of the intra-party elections held on December 2, where Barrister Gohar Ali Khan secured the position of PTI Chairman. The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) directed the party to conduct these elections, resulting in Gohar's uncontested victory.
The newly-elected chairman, who was nominated by the former PTI chief Imran Khan, expressed his commitment to the role during a statement in Peshawar following the election. Gohar pledged to diligently fulfill his responsibilities as Imran Khan's representative within the party.
