Khurram Manzoor's blazing 37-ball 53 and Shahnawaz Dahani's (3-16) brilliant bowling stormed Karachi Region Whites to the National T20 Cup title against Abbottabad Region in Karachi on Sunday.
– ABBOTTABAD REGION’S INNINGS –
Chasing a target of 156, Yasir Shah-inspired Abbottabad could score 146/9 in 20 overs, paving the way for the home side to clinch the trophy with a nine-run victory.
Aitzaz Habib Khan remained the top scorer for Abbottabad, scoring an unbeaten 26-ball 43, lacing with six boundaries and one towering six. Fayyaz Khan looked good for his 9-ball 23, clobbering three sixes, before being flummoxed by Aftab Ibrahim.
Fakhar Zaman and Ahmed Khan scored 19 each.
Other batters, Sajjad Ali (1), Kamran Ghulam (12), Afaq Ahmed (11), Shahab Khan (0), Khalid Usman (10), Yasir Shah (0) and Adil Naz (5) failed to show any significant resistance with the bat.
For Karachi, Shahnawaz Dahani (3-16) spearheaded his side by scooping up three wickets.
Danish Aziz (2-18), Anwar Ali (2-26) and Aftab Ibrahim (2-30) picked up two wickets apiece.
Sohail Khan (0-42) and Arif Yaqoob (0-13) remained wicketless.

– KARACHI REGION WHITES' INNINGS –
After being put in to bat, the Whites posted a fighting total of 155/9, with Khurram Manzoor playing a role as the seasoned campaigner. He whacked nine boundaries and one six in his impressive 53-run innings.
Omair Yousuf also contributed to the Asad Shafiq-led Whites' total, scoring 31-ball 36, smashing two boundaries and one six.
Danish Aziz hammered two boundaries and one six in his 12-ball 22 before he was removed by Shahab Khan.
Ammad Alam (5), Azam Khan (14), Asad Shafiq (4), Anwar Ali (4), Sohail Khan (0), Aftab Ibrahim (11), Arif Yaqoob (0) and Shahnawaz Dahani (1) failed to show any significant resistance with the bat.
For Abbottabad, Shahab Khan (4-28) bowled beautifully to grab four Whites’ wickets.
Adil Naz (2-23) and Fayyaz Khan (2-34) picked up two wickets apiece.
Khalid Usman (0-32) and Yasir Shah (0-35) remained wicketless.
