Shah Rukh Khan's next venture, Rajkumar Hirani's "Dunki," might shift its release date to 2024 for practical reasons.
The film's shooting is proceeding as scheduled, and "Dunki" is set to be ready for a Christmas 2023 release, adhering to the planned timeline.

However, the team behind "Dunki" is currently debating the wisdom of having a third Shah Rukh Khan film released within the same year.
A source revealed, "I believe they are looking at the possibility of moving 'Dunki' to early next year. This year, SRK's 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan' have been record-breaking blockbusters. A third film doesn't seem to make much sense. It might be better to wait a few months, allowing SRK fans some time to fully appreciate the twin successes. Let's not forget, 'Pathaan' has already started streaming on Prime Video, and 'Jawan' is set to begin streaming not before November. This means that the SRK fever will continue throughout the year.
Releasing 'Dunki' within the same year would be more of the same. Besides, SRK would have no releases next year if 'Dunki' is also released this year."
While a final decision on whether to postpone "Dunki" to 2024 has not been made, the possibility of this happening appears quite likely
