Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader Murad Ali Shah launched a broadside at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Friday.
Expressing his thoughts in Hyderabad, the former Sindh chief minister said, "We did not say to be involved in the May 9 mayhem. Nobody has ever labelled the PPP as ladla."
– PPP will spring its surprise in elections –
PPP senior leader Syed Nasir Shah asserted that his party will spring its surprise in the upcoming elections.
Speaking to the media in Lahore, Shah claimed, "We will clinch more than 50 seats from Sindh. We will spring our surprise in Central Punjab in the upcoming elections."
He took a swipe at the political opponents, saying, "Some of the people are escaping the elections by making different excuses."

Asserting that his party was geared up for the elections, Shah made it clear that his party was not against the alliance in Sindh.
Shah stated: "The PPP had always faced obstacles in a bid to form its government in Punjab."
