The State of Qatar announces, as part of the ongoing mediation, an agreement has been reached to extend the humanitarian pause for an additional two days in the Gaza Strip.

Ghazi Hamad, a member of Hamas's political bureau, expressed optimism over the truce extension, labeling it as "good news."
Hamad urged an end to the ongoing war and aggression against the Palestinian people, emphasizing the importance of international support for a lasting ceasefire.
Qatari aid en route to Gaza
Qatar dispatched five planes carrying a total of 156 tonnes of aid, including food, medical items, and shelter supplies, to Gaza. The aid will be transferred from the Egyptian city of El-Arish to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in the war-torn region.
White House supports truce extension
Meanwhile, The White House welcomes the extension of the Gaza truce and expresses hope for additional prolongation.
National Security Council spokesman John Kirby announced that, in return for the truce extension, Hamas commits to releasing 20 more women and children in the next two days.
The U.S. emphasized the importance of minimizing civilian casualties during military operations.
