The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) recently announced a milestone achievement for the Roshan Digital Account, reporting that overseas Pakistanis have surpassed sending $7 billion through the platform this month.
This significant achievement, shared on the social media platform X (Twitter) by the State Bank, reflects a remarkable influx of funds from overseas Pakistanis into the Roshan Digital Account during November.
Expressing gratitude, the Central Bank conveyed its heartfelt appreciation to the overseas Pakistani community for their steadfast support and unwavering trust in the Roshan Digital Account initiative.
This noteworthy feat comes after a previous surge in remittances via the Roshan Digital Account was recorded in September 2023. During that month, the State Bank had reported a notable milestone, with the amount sent through the Roshan Digital Account reaching an impressive $6.70 billion.
