Two individuals sustained serious injuries in a hand grenade attack along Quetta's Saryab Road on Tuesday (today), Samaa TV reported.
The attack occurred in broad daylight when unknown suspects hurled a hand grenade at a yet-to-be-determined target.
The explosion rocked the area, resulting in injuries to two individuals who were in close proximity to the blast.
Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene, and the injured were swiftly transported to a nearby hospital.
The victims have been identified as Niaz and Karim Nawaz, both residents of Quetta.
Their current medical condition remains undisclosed.
In the meantime, the local law enforcement agencies, including Quetta police, have initiated an investigation into the incident to ascertain the motive behind the attack.
To maintain the security of the area, the police have cordoned off the affected area.
