Thirteen Pakistani fishermen were held by Indian Coast Guard Ship (ICGS) Arinjay in the Arabian Sea on Tuesday.
The vessel was taken to Okha harbour for comprehensive rummaging and joint interrogation by multiple agencies, as stated in a press release by the Indian Coast Guard.
During a patrol in the Arabian Sea, ICGS Arinjay identified a Pakistani Fishing Boat engaged in fishing approximately 15 KM inside Indian waters near the International Maritime Boundary Line on November 21, 2023, as mentioned in the press release issued by the Indian Coast Guard.

The Pakistani fishing boat attempted to escape towards Pakistan, however, the ICG ship intercepted and halted the boat within Indian waters; said the press release.
The boat, named Naz-Re-Karam, had departed from Karachi on November 19, carrying 13 crew members, according to the press release.
