The anti-terrorism court of Lahore extended the interim bails of PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s sisters in the May 9 arson and violence cases.
The interim bails of Aleema and Uzma Khan were extended till December 9.
On the other hand, former PTI minister Asad Umar and former MNA Zain Qureshi did not appear in court and submitted an application for exemption from appearance.
Their applications were accepted.
Judge Arshad Javed of the ATC was hearing interim bail pleas of Aleema and Uzma Khan, Asad Umar and others in the May 9 cases.
Imran Khan’s sisters appeared in court after their interim bails expired on Wednesday.
The investigation officer told the court that the suspects were not joining the investigation, which was not complete yet. He asked for more time to do so.
